1) SFL-Match Rules
Standard Match Rules
1.A match will take 20 minutes per map (pauses excluded)
2. If a clan doesn't have enough players available, the opponent has to pick one of these two options:
- Drop a player or multiple players (5vs3 -> 3vs3)
- Pick a rematch within a week from the original matchdate.
3. Minimum time to wait for players before a match start is 10 minutes. SFL Staff admins can decide to wait longer when the circumstances ask for it.
4. Maximum time of pause is 5 minutes for each clan per map.
5. SFL Matches & Rematches can only be played in either 5vs5, 4vs4 and 3vs3 settings.

Maps
2 Maps have been selected per round (see fixtures).

3vs3 maps: Selected to be used for 3vs3

5vs5 maps:
Selected to be used for 4vs4 and 5vs5

Clans may decide to play either the 3o3 or 5o5 map despite their team sizes. This has to be decided before the match starts. If the clans can not get to an agreement, both clans will have to stick to the original 3o3 and 5o5 map designation.

3) Rematch Rules
Rematch - rules : Picking a date
- There are two ways to pick a date for a rematch within the match-week:
1. Clanleaders have to come to terms with eachother to fix a date.
2. If above fails or SFL-Staff has not heard a date within tuesday night:
the rematch will be forced to take place on wednesday 8pm uk time (21:00 western Europe time).

Rematch - rules: Points
- The clan who had enough players available on the regular match (SFL-Sunday), can not be defaulted
if it has not enough players for the rematch (less then 3 players): Both clans will get 1 point for each map.
- If both clans have not enough players in the rematch: both clans will get 0 points.
- The clan who showed up with enough players in both regular match and rematch will get 4 points when the
other clan has not managed to get a team ready on either of the matchdays.

4) Players & Clan Rules
- Before the match the clanleader has to add a player on the player-lists if this player has not been listed yet.
- Players must use the name that is registered on the memberlist (At the match-admin's discretion)
- A player can clanhop during the season only once if his clan of origin and his new clan agrees with it.
- SFL Staff unanimously has to approve the clanhop first.
- Using a player that is banned or listed in another clan will always result in 3 points reduction, even if
the clan has lost the match.

5) SFL Admins Rules
General Rules:
- SFL Staffmembers are the usual match-admins.
- SFL Staffmembers can appoint anyone as a match-admin for any specific match.
- In some cases clans have to admin themselves.
- Matches adminned by a player who is not a member of SFL Staff will always be played in the sof1.org match servers.

Rules and guidelines for the match-admin:
1. Minimum time to wait for players before a match start is 10 minutes. SFL Staff admins can decide to wait longer when the circumstances ask for it.
1. Maximum time of pause is 5 minutes for each clan.
2. If there is doubt about possible fake-players, make a screenshot of the players ip's and send it to SFL Staff.
3. Do not pause the game when there is a flagcap in progress.
4. Follow all SFL-Rules which involve the work of a match-admin.
5. If situations occur that are not covered by the rules, you are allowed to improvise in a responsible manner.
6. Always post the screenshots + players stats at the same evening of the match.
7. No spectators allowed, match admins are to kick any illegal connections to the server. Players breaking this rule may be punished.

6) Dedicated Server - Rules
All matches will be played in SOF1.org servers unless decided otherwise by the two clans and SFL Staff (in case of laggy servers or no servers at all).
Different servers may only be used when it meets the following criteria:
1. A SFL-Staffmember must have ftp-access on your server to check if the right cvars and add-ons are enabled.
2. Server is not man-made but hosted by a company or by a datacentre.
3. Server is already known to the community and setup correctly.

Server settings:
- Weapons stay
- Realistic damage
- No friendly fire
- Ammo on
- Bullet only

7) Exceptions & Complaints
Exeptions:
In case of an exceptional situation SFL Staff can undermine these rules at any time and/or edit the current set of rules.
This, ofcourse, will only occur when SFL Staff unanimously agrees on taking the required action(s).

Complaints:
When a player or a clan has a complaint about the actions and/or behaviour of a matchadmin and/or SFL Staff member the
clanleader of that clan should file that particular complaint in the clanleader board. From there it will be taken care of.
Complaints outside of the clanleader board will not be looked into.
