I've got a feeling with Virgin that even though it's supposed to be unlimited that if you start downloading heavily then they throttle you bit by bit.

u should check the fair use policy then, shock
had the same thing with my phone, my contract says its unlimited internet, but apparently that has a little line, which says there is a fair use policy, thats why i get slower internet on my phone after only half of each month

Yeah, as I say never had a problem personally, but you're right, there's bound to be a clause in the contract. Bet it doesn't mention throttling the connection though.
