Re: SOF for Mac
Sorry for the late reply, haven't been here in a while. Use Wineskin, it's simpler than what its manual makes it look like: http://wineskin.urgesoftware.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; It made SOFCE run at 1280x800 in my old 2011 Mac with no problems at all. If you feel ...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
Mesa is already installed. Outputs; LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo https://paste.ubuntu.com/24620472/ OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on AMD CEDAR (DRM 2.43.0 / 4.4.0-78-generic, LLVM 4.0.0) That is a software renderer. Somehow Q3 accepts it but Q2 rejects it. People say it's pretty quick, so I do...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
sof.log has been created. Is here; https://paste.ubuntu.com/24619780/ That is super weird. Tell me what this returns: LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose glxinfo If it doesn't work, do this: sudo apt-get install mesa-utils ...and then try again. Also, post what this returns: dmesg | egrep 'drm|radeon' If you have ...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
However, I tried some games with Wine. According to this; Call of Duty 2 (Windows version) Delta Force: Land Warrior (Windows version) Urban Terror (Windows version) Runs on Wine without any problems. Thanks for all the info. From those three, only Urban Terror is OpenGL, but that's good enough to ...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
In fact, there is no problem with other games that use OpenGL and Direct3D. Games like Doom 2, Quake III, Delta Force: Land Warrior and Half-Life 1 are running without any problems. Sorry Megalanya but I want to get back to this. From those games, only Delta Force is D3D, but also it's the only one...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
64bit Ubuntu? Doesn't matter, Wine runs in 32. SoF runs great for me with QeffectsGL activated in Ubuntu 16.04 64bit, with both Wine 2.0 and 2.6. The big problem it has is that Unity, the desktop environment, completely steals the ALT key, so the game loses focus if you press it and you have no opt...

Only in Soldier of Fortune was such a distress. Wine logs for SoF, look like this: Before you post your compressed lo...

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
My graphics card is ATI® Radeon™ HD 5450 and unfortunately there is no driver for Ubuntu 16.04. You are supposed to be covered by the default driver: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/RadeonDriver" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; Your chipset is CEDAR and you should have 3D ...

Wow, these are awesome! Great work!
Do you accept dumb requests? How about a jungle camo for the flamethrower and an all-chrome or blue skin for the microwave gun?

Re: Sof 1 CE on Ubuntu/Wine?
Install proprietary drivers for your video card, they normally have support for OpenGL while native drivers may not:

Made by myself / Hecho por mí. As an "artistic license", I changed the names of the weapons to their real life counterparts. I could do it in the english version if there's enough interest. http://www.moddb.com/games/soldier-of-fortune/addons/traduccion-espanol http://media.moddb.com/image...
