Was wondering if anyone knows the cvars for the flagsound and shotgunsound?
I'm having trouble hearing people aswell as they can hear me, and i've noticed one of the reasons is for example my shotgun and flagsound which are so loud and often "overpower" the sounds that I want to hear (like footsteps, pickups etc).
Some sound cvars
Re: Some sound cvars
I had my old .pak with less shotgun sound and standard flagsound I'll check in my base
@edit: fock, lost it. Changed my .pak week ago to a standard shotgun sound

Re: Some sound cvars
Yeh I'd like something like this too. I've always relied on my reactions but now it seems everyone uses sound to know where people r these days. I can't hear any footsteps or anything at all other than my own.
Re: Some sound cvars
I will change some shits in my pak and I'll post the result here ;)

Re: Some sound cvars
no they are integrated in the .wav. else you have time to spend/waste, you can lower dB of each file and put it in a pak
Re: Some sound cvars
found this in my autoexec:
set _snd_mixahead "0.100" // Maximum Performance On
set bgmvolume "0" // No CD Music
set hisound "1" // High Quality Sound On
set loadas8bit "0" // Eight Bit Sound Off
set s_a3d "0" // A3D Off
set s_eax "0" // EAX Off
set s_reverb "0" // Reverb Off

Re: Some sound cvars
if you make a specific list of sounds you want louder and sounds you want quieter, (preferebly with the amount of db)
