This release still needs to be tested before it will be uploaded to torrent websites.
Test the new version for stuff like:
- If sofplus doesn't conflict with it's previous version (overwrite conflict)
- fullscreen mode is working correctly (automatic adapts to your desktop resolution)
- color-names, shortcuts, keybindings other configurations like user.cfg etc.
- all links working correctly, no conflicting issue with your windows or drivers
- serverlist available or not.
- typing errors, spelling-nazi are welcome.
- others
The reason for this is because it has been 2 years since I worked on the Community Edition, so
I am still rusty.
Please test this setup and post your opinion about it ! Thank you very much !
(Funny fact: It is exact 2 years ago when the last version was released !)

I think the number is still in double digits, just waiting for it to drop to single digits.
Heck, I had a whooping 8 players stand off on my server, forgot to take SS of who won the spectating marathon but the minutes of the game is available upon request.

MinatO wrote:Why the fuck are people still making releases for a game thats played by 5 players. Seems like a waste of time to me lol
30 minutes aint much. Reason it took so long is because it's exactly what you are saying: Too less players.
However I did checked the torrent sites, and saw there were still 20 seeds on the 5.0 edition (5.1 was never released to torrent sites) and people were still discussing about the 5.0 edition: "Why are the servers not showing up?". It's the main reason why I decided to release a update.
These two shortcuts
sof1.megalag.org/server-list.html
sof1.megalag.org/sofplus.php
are now http://sof1.megalag.org/server/ http://sof1.megalag.org/sofplus/
Redirects are in place at the moment but I think they'll eventually be removed.
Everything else works as it should for me (Win7)

Did we sign a contract? :troll:
Wow. Bad troll alert.
Men keep their word whether they like it afterwards or not.
But anyway, just to play on your ground: We didn't sign anything, but we do (read: you and the tournament participants) have a covenant about you paying the winner a certain amount of money. And yes that can be proved by ip tracing and some threaddigging. So yes, even without having signed a contract you can be forced by a judge (probably within 2 minutes) to pay your debts to the winners of the tournament.

Aha, well a convenant cannot be used in court unless it's written in the convenant that it can be used in court to enforce the convenant to be followed.
Also I doubt a bunch of text in a digital forum is considered as a convenant lol.
