Record Video (Fraps)

HOW TO RECORD VIDEO IN-GAME WITH FRAPS



1. Which tools do u need?
Fraps (Download here: Click)



2. Start and configure Fraps
Open Fraps and make sure you set it with the following settings:

3.Keep Fraps loaded and start up SoF
You will notice your FPS in yellow colour on the top-right of your screen, like this:

4. Record the video
- Press F12 to record your video (or the key you configured)
- The yellow FPS will change into red FPS and will be significantly lower than the yellow FPS.

How do you make a Fraps recording of a dm2 file - 12 GB for instance, into a size more manageable?

By using a movie editor like sony vegas, adobe premiere or windows movie maker and then render it as a video. The size should be like 100mb-1gb depending on the length of the video and the settings for the quality (480p/720p/1080p).

I'll get Sony Vegas then, wmm doesn't seem to be able to handle it for me.
