Ctrl has released a new client.

He has added a plugin for Mumble (a free, open source alternative to skype/ts etc) , which enables positional audio on SoF1. So you can hear where your team mates voices are coming from in relation to the map.

But the main improvements will be for sofplus scripters, it is now much easier to script as you don't have to compile using spscript.exe. (you still can). If you are interested in learning sofplus scripting, download the sofplus server and look at the example server scripts.

(from now on sofplus versions will be the year, month and day of there creation. yyyymmdd unless it gets changed again)

did you read the manual / did you delete the old sofplus pak file?

Yes i readed THE manial and deleted THE .dll from earlier sof +

Maybe you skipped the first paragraph:

Delete <SoF directory>/base/sofplus-14t09b.pak, if you are upgrading from an older SoFplus version.

The example server scripts are in user-server/sofplus/*.func

The client also has scripts, but they are inside a .pak file: base/sofplus.pak/sofplus/*.func

I see now yes, wondered what those *.func files were but didn't use notepad and open one
