Been a lot of years since SOF came out. I cut my online teeth on this game. I was in quite a few different sniper teams back then, but my mind is forgetful these days and I couldn't name you one to save my life. I moved on to Black Hawk Down and even took my name KOMMANDER with me. I'm glad to see that folks still play this game. Do any servers still run or is the online aspect of it done and gone. I sure would like to play it online again. KOMMANDER

You need SoF Platinum + SoFplus CLient to be able to join a server and play.

Thank you for the reply. I downloaded the community version after I posted here and was able to see that there are still a few servers up and going. I do have one question. It seems the community version won't run in Win 10. I have it set up on a vista 64 bit system and my retro XP system, but it doesn't want to run on my main system. Is there something special that has to be done to get it to run on 10?

Since you are on Windows 10, try renaming sof.exe to mohaa.exe.

Did you install as an Administrator?
I would COPY sof.exe to another location rename it then move it back, so you have the original and the renamed one in SoF folder.

Launch mohaa.exe (don't forget to edit the shortcut)

If this doesn't fix it for you let us know.
