MOUSE PROBLEM

Post by AAFS27 »

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my mouse when i play more than 60 FPS.
Its difficult to explain but i will do my best. when i want to play with 150 fps my mouse become smooth but too smoooooth. The sensation is bad so i have to put max 60 fps but at 60 fps i cant jump over box..
If you know how to fix it let me know. Thanks !!

Only 1 option I can think of and this is probably not going to work.
  • Open console
  • Type m_filter
  • If the value is 0, set to 1
  • If the value is 1, set to 0

If the solution doesn't work, it might simply be because you are not used to this change. At 150 FPS, you have smaller delay between frames which means less input lag. This also give you the advantage to have lower ping when you have 150 fps.

Win Key + R -> main.cpl -> Pointer Options
Mouse Accelerator Enabled.

I might add, if you play modern games and disable this - it will affect those games.
Ideally, you'll need to have turn it back on after every game of sof.
or you can just play with it and get used to it, like i did :D :troll:

Playing with it on is doable but sure is inconsistent, if you move your mouse in a quick sweep it will go much farther than if you do so slowly over the same distance.
